The Pacific & Regional Organization Branch is responsible for managing Solomon Islands Bilateral and Multilateral relations within the Pacific region.
The Branch focuses on fostering Solomon Islands cooperation and collaboration with regional organizations such as the Pacific Islands Forum, CROP Agencies, the Pacific Islands Development Forum and the Melanesian Spearhead Group.
Solomon Islands maintains cordial relations with all Pacific Island states and territories in the region. The Branch serves as a vital platform for coordinating initiatives and fostering partnerships to promote peace, stability, trade, and sustainable development in the Pacific region.
The Branch remains the government’s focal point for all foreign relations engagement in the Pacific region through close coordination with our diplomatic Missions in Papua New Guinea, Republic of Fiji, Australia, and New Zealand.
The Branch also works closely with Resident and Non-resident Diplomatic Missions from the Pacific region that are established in Honiara and those that are accredited to the Solomon Islands.
