The Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon today, 20th September 2016, called for the urgent enforcement of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.

Prime Minister Sogavare left for Brisbane today, Friday 16th September, en route to New York for the 71st United Nations General Assembly.

The 71st UN General Assembly General Debate will take place from the 16th to 25th September. This year, the focus will be on implementing the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development, which were adopted at the 70th UNGA.
